I spent a happy, busy holiday season as a soprano with CHRISTMAS MATTERS HOLIDAY SINGERS. We were engaged in quartets and octets, performing songs ranging from JOY TO THE WORLD and JINGLE BELLS through SANTA BABY and Leonard Cohen's HALLELUJAH -- not to mention I WANT A HIPPOPOTAMUS FOR CHRISTMAS, which we sang frequently at the Bronx Zoo's Holiday Lights Festival. Can't wait to do it again in 2020!
I've just started rehearsals for the role of Sister Mary Lazarus in SISTER ACT. Performances will take place at the White Plains Performing Arts Center (WPPAC) -- weekends (and weekdays around the holidays) from Thursday, December 16 through Sunday, January 8. I'm sure you will love the show, its music and its heart as much as I do. Purchase tickets by clicking here.
I have just joined the cast of the Frank Wildhorn musical JEKYLL & HYDE, produced by Sponge Theatricals. I will be playing Lady Beaconsfield -- and I do hope I die well. Our rehearsals started in mid-February. Our perfomances, which will benefit the Trinity Homeless Shelter for the LGBT community, will run from Wednesday, May 18 through Sunday, May 22 at the Players Theatre in Greenwich Village. Tickets are available at www.spongetheatricals.com.
